my dads mate bought an r4i for his ds xl, he has no clue about downloaded firmware etc, so that was left to me, went to site, downloaded lastest from r4i site, put some games on that i know to work, checked it on my ds lite because the guy wouldn't lend me his ds xl for some reason ??? : card worked fine, put a dpg on it, showed my dad that the card worked. dad passed the card on, guy checked it, film works, card works but some games don't work. could it be that some of the older games won't work on ds xl? ok update....none of the games work on the dsi xl, but the games and card works on the dslite. any ideas would a sav. file created on a ds lite stop the game from opening up on a dsi xl
Is the R4i compatible with DSiXL(does it display on your product box) If not, then that might be the problem.
The R4i came out before the DSiXL i thin k, so it wouldn't list it on the box, i think all DSi cards work on the DSiXL
As long as they are 1.4 compatible. If it isn't the red R4i, then it won't work on the DSi XL or a DSi with 1.4 firmware.
