Got a DSI running firmware Version 1.2E

My R4I card as the firmware kernal version 1.10B.
problem is all i get is a Red image is a micro sd card with the wors Menu and a ? on the top screen of the DSI .
any help in solving this problem .

Used the Acekard before but my son damaged it so we replaced it with this r4i card but trying to get it to work is a nightmare. inlike the acekard.

Make sure you're using the right firmware. http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/ There's many clones of the R4i now (which it itself is a clone!).

 

Thank you , and you are correct about clone cards.
this card we bought is a fake copy clone etc.

Why the official R4i site kernal would not work it. got a few kernals i down loaded and many came up fake card etc. some did nothing and others just gave the red menu gif.

After about 6 downloads and lots of trying i found one that works,
thought the card at £20 with 2gig memory was a bit cheap , the box and info was all good looking thou so be careful.

 

where did you find the firmware to work?? I have the same issue.
