R4i Gold is Good

    I mistakenly upgraded my DSi from 1.3 to 1.4 and my R4 stopped working...

    However - I went back to the shop and they are now selling R4i GOLD (£35 including a 4gb card)

    I tested it in the shop and it worked fine....

    In addition - The Starwars game (that didnt work on my old R4i) now works too..

    I am using my old R4i in a DS (not DSi) and it works fine. ;D ;D ;D

    prehaps the r4i gold is slightly better quality.

    But did you post here just to tell us or do you have a question?

    (And I hate r4's-the one you have is a clone-the original r4 stop years ago-best card is the acekard 2.i :) )

    This section is for technical help.

    I was offering some help to people like me - who upgraded to version 1.4E and their R4i's would no longer work :) :)

    the acekard 2.i looks good too

    It may have a fixed internal loader/hardware revision.

    I have R4i gold which work well except for sims games & Mario kart ( very annoying) any suggestions on how to fix ?

    I almost have the same problem : my r4 gold wont play any game i add exept for professor layton 2 and rhythm heaven. I tried updating it but it still doesn't work. Can someone help me im really desperate
