R4I Gold Flash Cart!! Need help quickly please

    A neighbour has just given me this card hoping for me to get it up and running for tomorrow. I havent done a card for over a year so not up to speed with the firmware I need to install onto the card. Can anyone help please?

    Well, IIRC, Wood R4's R4i gold version may work on yours...

    Check CK3's thread and see if your version is compatible (only a few iterations of R4i gold are compatible).


    If you have R4i Gold V1, it will work, if it is V2, it will not work.

    Have tried the Wood firmware but all I get is a blank white screen, I have R4 Gold Ver 1.4

    Did you try the WOOD R4iDSN or WOOD R4i Gold ? Don't use the WOOD R4 for R4 Original.

    Dont use Wood R4 for R4 Original!
    Of doesnt work try: YSMenu

    If there is a website printed on the card go there for your firmware, if not, check this site out and try the different R4i Gold's firmwares http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/
