r4i 3DS card won't work on v1.4.5

    Hi, I recently updated my dsi xl to v1.4.5 now my r4i 3DS card will not work. I've downloaded the new software from r4i-sdhc (the website it says on my card) would I be able to update the card in a ds lite?

    Yes, if you have a DS Lite besides that DSi. And you need to have an official updating file for that cart to work on v.1.45 DSi Firmware. Else it's a no go.

    What is an official updating file? (I have downloaded V1.69 software for the r4i 3DS) hoping to borrow a friends ds lite at the weekend

    Cards marked 4.4 and 1.4.4 and below cant be updated to work in dsi on 1.4.5 as they brought out new cards
