r4ds help!!

i have an r4ds(original) with wood r4 1.12 (DSLite)the problem is that the DS doesnt detect it.....& sometimes when it does i play like for 2/3 minutes & everything freeze..chansomeone help me pleaze??

 

What type of microSD chip are you using , Somethines they may read are right fater then some microSD chips , (Note) a R4 original can only take upto a 2GB microSD chip , microSD SDHC chip will not work well on it at all

before formatting try blowing on card and sd would not believe how much this actually works

 

its a sandisk 2GBs...& i tried formatting it but i guess it's not the MSD .....the whole flashcard isnt detected(it's not from the DS either,i have fifa 07 & it works perfectly)

 

as i said blow on sd and r4 it really can work

i kinda licked the bottom of the card & it worked,but it still bets bloked & undetected..any solution?
it worked for like 2 minutes then image frozen,music of the game still playing & when i turned off then on it wasnt detected

 

Well first, ew.

But yes, clean the contacts on the R4 card. They are more than likely filthy and need to be cleaned. If you have rubbing alcohol, you can put a VERY SMALL amount on a q-tip, cloth, something (not toilet paper, paper towels, or anything paper though), and lightly swab the contacts. I can't stress enough how careful you need to be. Going overboard will ruin the card.

nothing....it sometimes get detected but stays on"loading..."

i blew on it afterward & it worked!!(i still dunno if i'll get blocked or no,but still...THANX A LOT!!!)

Give the microds chip pins a good clean

Try an eraser, (Note) this dose "not" format

With this program be sure to select the Correct letter removable drive your microSD chip is using and check model on description and size of microSD chip , Select Kill and type in erase-all-data , wait untill done , then unplug it and replug in your microSD chip and do a quick format - are a full format if you wish

Your microsd chip should be as good as new, as any corruption will be gone + formatted data


"(Note)" Be carfull if you erase a Slave hard drive , You will need a program to make a new partition, Partition Wizard will do the job

its not the micro SD witch is not detected its the whole game card!

Trying the SD card with your friends R4 could work.

 

i did it & the MSD works flawlessly

 

I suggest getting a new R4 card. They are around $6,- these days.

 

yah i was thinking that but i dunno from where...& i cant internet buy them cuz the delivery wont probably come til my country...anyway ill manage to get a new one so thanx
