R4DS Games gone

    WTF!

    I started up my R4 as usual but now, all my games are gone!?
    I'm so pissed off, 2gb games are gone, but more important: HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN!?

    Bad quality mini SD card?

    Plug it into a computer to see if the games are really gone or if it's just a cartridge bug.

    Regardless, never treat the R4 as a permanent file storage, it uses a mini SD card, which is pretty similar in functionality to a pen-drive, and I would guess that as such it is also prone to fault or get out of format from time to time.

    Thus, always have a backup file in your pc.

    It's not my microSD. It's from Kingston.
    I had a few games back-upped on my PC, only the ones above 75MB, so when I delete them from my SD, I don't have to spend coins again on downloading. Had my sav files backupped too, I'm just pissed off it happened, I'm not mad at the R4 Team or something. Did your check, and the files really were gone, had no problems yet until yesterday.

    it might be your microSD, they do wear out eventually.
