Ok, so I was playing a game on my original r4, ds lite, when it froze. I didn't really think much of it when it happened because it does this occasionally. But when I took the card out and put it back in, a black screen appeared after the loading screen. I tried to start it up two more times and the same thing happened. So I'm wondering if my R4 card is broken, or if I should get a new one.
Ok I see, Few options. 1. Clean back panel pins with a clean clof are Cotton bud And same for microSD chip back pins 2. Backup and format microSD chip, and update to firmware Woodr4 v1.50 designd for r4 original. 3. Blow in back of DS see to clean any micro dust. PS: I have the R4 original , But all i can think of ^ See how it gose.
I will try cleaning it, but I already tried blowing on it and I have wood 1.49 so I don't think updating again will help. Thanks for your help though. I really aprecciate it.
