Hi Having recently been given an R4 SDHC I have been unsuccessfully trying to down load games onto my DS. I have downloaded Winrar etc. I have followed all the instructions shown on here to the letter and it still will not work. I know of someone who has managed this with the particular R4 that I have but for some reason mine does not work. All that come up on my DS in the top Window is Menu , possibly for the particular game I have tried to download. Please advise MB
It needs the proper firmware (Menu) files in order to run. Go to www.linfoxdomain.com/ds and look for the R4 SDHC firmware files (There are a couple by that name, so you will have to find the right one).

You need the right firmware files, and they need to be installed correctly (not in any folders, and they have to be extracted from the zip/rar/7z file)
Hi OK will try that thanks am rapidly running out of patience with it ): I think with my friend finding it was pretty straight forward, after following instructions I cannot understand why mine is not a simple as it is exactly the same and brought from the same site and set up in the same way .
