Hello. Both a friend and I have NDS lite. The model number and all listed on the backs match one another. He has always used legitimate purchased copies of games and recently bought an R4 from Real Hot Stuff. I have never loaded an actual NDS game, using R4 from the very start. R4 boots on mine just fine but doesn't even show a hint of existence on his. Any ideas as to why this is happening? ? I had suspected that some DS games had installed updates onto the DS that had new anti-piracy measures but I can't find any evidence to support this. After using the picto-chat method to identify our firmware we are both v5 as should be. We tried the paper trick on his but to no avail. His DS games work fine in mine and in his, but my R4 only works in mine but not his. Any ideas what might be going on? We're hoping his R4 will work in his DS lite out of the box.
