Hi everyone! I bought an R4 V1.4.1 Upgrade revolution for DS card (NDSi LL(XL)/NDSi, NDSL, NDS) WiFi edition years ago. I have a european original 3ds which now runs firmware 9.5.0-22E. Is there anything this card can do? Can I upgrade it? What can it let me do? Is it possible to somehow region unlock my 3DS using this card so I can buy a game in the US and run it inside my EU 3DS? Basically I have been out of the scene for a long time and am looking for a summary of what I can do with this card years on! Many thanks for your time and responses! :-* :-* :-* :-*
Aside from playing NDS games and emulate old school console rom using emulators for NDS? You can use it to stabilized your wobbly table leg, or as a door stopper if your door is not level with the floor. Depends on if there's an update for it from it's official website or not. If your R4 hasn't been pre-installed with the latest firmware/kernel at purchase, you'd probably find it blocked when trying to install the firmware/kernel yourself. What are you expecting it to do aside from run/emulate NDS games or old school rom such as SNES, GBC, GB, GG, etc.? But don't expect it to run 3DS rom! Using a flash cart such as that in your hand will make all NDS games region free regardless which region your 3DS handheld is.
