R4 Ultra Alternate FW

Hi I got myself an R4 Ultra SDHC for my Nintendo DS. The FW that they give is great except that it won't play some of the new games, like Sonic and Sega allstars. So I was looking to other FW like YSMenu and stuff like that but I can't seem to find one that works. I got this thing to work called Game Fix but I get unsupported DlDi name? If anyone knows a FW that works that would be great. Thank you

 

No, sorry. You will have to get a REAL R4 or a different flashcard.

No. The real R4s are obsolete and the only remaining ones are fake. I suggest, if you want the best compatibility with games, you should get the SuperCard DSTWO when it comes out, or the AceKard 2i.

Hey on sonic and sega allstars racing I keep getting an error that says can't find save data? and What loaders should I use I can only chose 2?

 

if you downloaded the akiao from the link i provide this is what you do to make sonic racing work

first you need to patch for the arm7 fix make sure it is a clean rom
(this will fix the "The saved data could not be accessed.")

follow the directions and it should work because it worked for me

once you put the akaio 1.5.1 on you r4 ultra and the patch game,
Open AKMENU4.NDS on your ds
select sega superstars racing
*when you select sega superstars racing hold X and the "loading" should turn red
If everything was done correcty the game should work.

the loader is not working for me and the arm 7 freezes when I hit go but it makes the .nds although the .nds does not work.

 

did you go to tools and extract a working arm7.bin from a rom that works perfectly

Yep worked so this should work for any new game to come out? Like pokemon?

 

okay once you extracted the arm7.bin and saved it

in the first space enter the clean sonic racers rom

in the second space enter the arm 7 you extracted

then in output save to wherever... press GO and it should work

remember to hold x when loading the game with akiao
