R4: 'The hardware is not compatible'

    (I'm not sure if this topic goes here so sorry if it doesn't)
    Anyway, I have had my R4 since Christmas and today I accidently deleted _DS_MENU.DAT
    Now, it comes up with 'The hardware is not compatible'. I have downloaded an other DAT file but It's still not working!!
    Any ideas?

    wich model is your R4?, look on the box, and format your micro SD card, re downlaod the whole firmware

    well you cannot give him a link like tha, you dont know his R4 firmware, a better idea is to uselinkfoxdomain they have every single firmware for every single flashcard, if not most flashcards.

    Thank you all, I have found that I needed a different .DAT file rather than the one I downloaded to replace. ;)
