R4 Start up Problem

    Hi All,

    i recently had to restore my pc to its orginal settings, now for some reason when i put my R4 USB stick into the computer i do not get the little box that comes up asking what i want to open up, hence i cannot now acces my roms.

    any help would be great thanks.

    does it show up in my computer?

    If not, you will have to give it a drive letter. To do that, follow these steps:

    Right click on 'my computer' and choose 'manage'.
    In the window that comes up, click 'disk management' and wait for the right hand pane to appear.
    At the top of the right hand pane is a list of drives, you will find your microSD in there with no letter assigned to it.
    Right click your microSD in the list, and choose 'Change drive letters and paths' and a dialog box will appear. Click 'add'
    Choose a drive letter from the available list (be aware that if 'A' and/or 'B' are in the list, you cannot choose them) and click OK
    Click OK on the dialog that now shows your newly added drive letter. Within a few seconds your MicroSD should become available and you can close drive management.

    I have this and will put the stick in the comp and reboot.then it see's it.
