R4 SDHC Upgrade Question?

hey, I'm new to this community and I'm loving it so far , anyway i bought a r4 card or at least i think its a r4 I'm not sure if its a clone or what from this website http://www.r4card.com.au/ and when i put the SD card in it doesn't click like they usually do and to get it out i have to like tug it out and its kind of hard is this normal? and is there anyway to get it to click like acekards etc do? by the way it works fine I'm just worried that it'll eventually wear out a bit due to me having to fiddle a lot to get the SD card out.

It's probably not spring-loaded. You can't add a spring to a flashcart.

 

although I cant be definite, it could be the case of you previously having a spring loaded cart (where you push down and it pops up).
As far as i know the R4 originally had this system but now uses the grip with your nail and pull up system.
I have had both and I can see why the new way seems weird but as long as you haven't got a dodgy or broken cart you'll get used to it.
