R4 Revolution software and advice needed to run the latest games please? Rabbids

Hi, iv bought a ds with an R4 revolution+4gb card and i have put on the latest firmware v1.8 i think but i thinks its an old release now as its not compatible with latest games and it crashes on loading latest games with errorcode=- please reset system,what other firmware could i use to sort this so it will work with latest games,

Excellent, Thanks for that, i formatted my memory card and followed the steps but now it just shows a white screen with menu in red writing? any help would be great, thanks

 

That means it cannot find the firmware files. Make sure you have them installed on your MicroSD correctly.

 

Okay, i have done that now and put the correct files on and now boots to the menu and plays rabbids, didnt realise i had to use the kernel files from http://www.r4i-sdhc.com/downloade.asp first the copy over the software from the link you provided, thankyou very much my daughter is now very happy

 

Yes, I misread your original post, I thought you had the original R4. That link was setup to run on the original R4, not the R4 SDHC.

But good thing you got it working.
