R4 PROBLEMS

I need help with my R4. When I put in the game card like I normally do into the DS, it now always goes to the menu screen of the DS without the R4. Example: When I put the R4 Card in, it goes to the screen with: Touch the touch screen to continue, and it then says no game card inserted. Do I need to buy a new replacement shell for my R4 so I can insert in properly? Because I did notice a small gap opening in the sides of the game card... This is really getting on my damn nerves now... And please dont waste my time by telling me crap like "Thats why I went with the M3, etc." Please, I need help. :-\

EDIT: I fixed it by reformatting it, but I'll eidt this post if anything happens again. Thanks.

Maybe you just need a replacement shell?

 

That happens to me a lot when I'm putting in new games, but I just blow on the cartridge hole (against the DS manual) and it works again XD

 

just click both cards in and out then turn it on again, that normaly works

 

hey dude, what do you mean click both cards in and out? you mean the shell and the inner hardrive thing?

Yep, that what I did and it worked. But I have a bad feeling its going to happen again very soon

Thats what I was going to buy, but If I were to buy a 2 Canadian $ one online, it also would include shipping and handling. which would be like 20 $ more.. So its kind of a waste...

Oh I have a question: Has anyone heard of Ninja DS? Its another type of illegal DS device, like the M3. If you have heard of it, where can I get info on it, or do you know if its a good kind? Thanks

 

i ment exactly that click it in and out. i get the same problem all the time, all i do is just take the r4 out of the ds then put it back in or thake the sd out of the r4 then put it back in a few times till it works

I always see Ninja DS at SM.... it doesn't look, or sound trustworthy...
