r4 problems

Hi everyone,

Sorry if this is in the wrong section. I looked around and thought this would be the best place to put it. So I haven't been touching my DS and R4 for the longest time but decided to play Zelda Phatom Hourglass but it doesn't work. Sometimes the DS won't read the R4 or the game won't load up.

I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

Also, I've been wanting to update my kernel AND I've looked on the official site to download it but when the site comes up it says bad host name. ME WANT TO PLAY DS!! TIA!!

I think there used to be a feature like that called karma, but it's gone now.

 

I uploaded the 1.15 kernel yesturday and everything worked fine until I went into the media section. My DS froze so I restarted it and went into my "games" folder. It froze there as well. I decided to simply overwrite it with the same 1.15 kernel and it still doesn't work so I formatted my 2 gig (lexar) and put in my games folder in there. I previously had 2 gigs worth of games on the 2gig before formatting it but not it stops at 1.3gigs and says the destination is full. I'm a nub at this kind of stuff so please help!! I never thought the R4 days of ruin were gonna come for me.

 

if might be a damage memory card...try borrowing one from someone and test it out.
