R4 problem

Hi, my sister and I have both a R4 card and we both have final fantasy 4. I downloaded the nds file from this site, and my sister got the file from her boyfriend. I don't have any problems with the game, but my sisters game freezes all of the sudden. That's why I tried to put my nds file on her R4 card, without deleting the SAV file..
The problem is that i deleted the original nds file, and that my sister has to start over again.. Can anyone help me? Maybe someone knows how the SAV file can work with the new nds file.. because my sister has to start over again, and i really feel bad about it..

Make sure the rom and save file have the exact same file name, excluding the file extensions (eg abc123.nds and abc123.sav).

 

OK, thank you so much for your help.. it seemed that there were 2 save files, and when i changed the other one.. The save files reappeared again XD thank you!
