R4 losing save data

I've noticed that my R4 Upgrade Revolution seems to lose save data.

ie: I was playing Luminous Arc, and maintaining a save file. I went to load it today though, and all 3 save slots in the game say "No Data" as if I'd never played before. This has also happened on a few other games.

Is there a way to fix this problem?

1.How long have you had the card-they do tend to expire.

2.Have you tried reformatting the sd card?

3.Have you got the latest firmware?

 

Card is only 3 or 4 months old.

I have the latest firmware.

I'm reformatting it now .

 

What were the other games that were failing?

prehaps they need arm7 patching or something-sorry I'm not used to r4's-they seem to be the most commonly asked flash card for ds-hard to use or too many clones-no idea.

 

I was under the impression that the R4 didn't need any arm7 patching, as it was supposed to automatically do it.

If not though, is there a quick / easy tutorial on how to do that?

 

The R4 is the one that needs arm7 patching the most. It is a cart with less than perfect compatibility.

The common issues thread tells you were to find the programs, and the programs do have some how to on how to use them to do the arm7 patching.
