R4 issue

    OK, so I've had my R4 for a long time, and it's worked great. However, I was using a 2gb Sandisk microSD card, and I just traded it to my friend for a 4gb Sandisk microSD card. The problem I have now is that I've downloaded the v1.18 firmware, unzipped it, copied it onto my card, etc. but when I turn on my ds screen it just stays stuck at the loading screen that usually goes away in like half a second. I think it might just be a busted card, anyone else have any thoughts?

    You tried blowing in the R4 or cleaning the Micro SD? Sometimes when my 2 gigdbyte micro SD card freezes like that I wipe it or blow in the R4.

    Backup all your data and reformat your MicroSD.

    Its most likely because your 4GB is a microSDHC and the R4 doesn't support that.

    It could be a non SDHC card, but those are hard to find nowadays.
