R4 - is this a clone or not?? Please advise xx

Not very techie, so please bear with me! The site says "we only sell genuine R4 cards", so I assumed this was a real R4 - am I correct in this assumption? Many thanks.

This is a fake R4. I've got a R4 RTS which is also a clone

Just been on line to their "live chat help" and have been promised my card is not a clone, but a real R4! Stumped now.

 

Well, they can say what they want, but it is a fake one

Actually, instead of getting an R4, why not get a much much better alternative, an Acekard 2i or a Supercard DStwo?

 

im 100% sure its a clone, R4DS original was not compatible with sdhc cards, try wood r4 for clones if you really want wood (not recomended). or get ysmenu, its the best firmware right now for clone r4s. or if you havent bought it yet, by acekard or supercard, both are good

 

Anything with R4 in it's name besides this R4, is a clone of the original R4 cart.

Why would you not recommend Wood?

 

the clone version of wood is really buggy, its unstable, and does not support every game, ysmenu has a better compatibility right now, and is more stable. only on clones though, because if it were the original r4, then you should get wood, it works better then ysmenu.
