Hello, guys! I'm a newbie here in the forum, so I don't know exactly where to make this question, but... I hope I'm not doing something wrong. Well, I've got a R4-III from the "brazilian eBay". I didn't know anything about R4 and similars... I bought the first one I found... guess I've made a mistake. Some folks said that R4-III is a clone... I think that mine is "clone of a clone". Yeah, I'm quite mad about it. :-\ Reading some stuff here, I decided to buy an Acekard 2.1 (I have a Nintendo Ds Lite). Did I make a good choice? Oh, and forgive me if I've made some english mistakes... I'm still learning, so... See ya. :-*
For DS Lite you might want to go for a Cyclo DS, Edge, or AceKard 2i. The above carts you mention are phishy and they are not the best.
Well yeah Acekard 2.1 isn't bad but the 2i is a bit more up to date incase you want to go Ds into DSi then it saves you money. =) But no mistakes anymore if you bought the Acekard 2.1 Raqueldms.
ACEKARD FTW!!!! The R4III has many issues, and the AceKard was working since the Japanese DSi came out. The AKAIO firmware just makes the AceKard ten times better.
I wish I had contacted Tirith or Mds64 before I bought my R4 cart.I would go with anything they recommend.
I got the 2.1 still-awsome card Only differenace between it and the 2.i is it's dsi compatible-if you have the chance get the 2.1 instead-but if its cheaper and not planning on a dsi then 2.1 works.
Luckily you got it i had an Acekard 2.1 and its was the best ever skins and everything i may be new but trust me all r4s are scams and "cloned clones" but don't get AKi unless yu want a dsi like previously said
Exactly. PLUS there are WAY too many clones. You made a huge mistake buying the R4, a lot of issues with clones, compatibility, etc. The only somewhat good clones of the R4 are the n5 and the M3
AKAIO is still better compatibility. Supports M&L3 without a patch I've heard. Maybe Kingdom Hearts might work too. R4 is problematic, a lot of my friends went out and bought the Acekard because of me .
