R4 help

i have a r4 at kernerl version 1.18. My problem is i just downloaded ragnarok (u) and dbz saiyan fury (u) both completely just freeze "game loading....". Ive done some reading and the only thing i could understand was i have to update but i already have the latest upgrade according to the official r4 site. please if anyone could help me i would greatly appreciate it i want to continue playing awesome games for my r4 thank you.

 

i'm not sure about dbz saiyan fury, but ragnarok works with no problems with ysmenu.

 

what is ysmenu?

ok...i followed the video tutorial...what do i do with ysmenu or ttmenu folder i just made?

 

With all the files on your card, you should be able to run the Ysmenu.nds and it will load up another menu.

 

ok....ive finally got some stuff done now i got ysmenu to finally load up into the game menu but when i try to start one up it says "r4patch.dat. NO_BOOT_LOADER" thans guys for the help really appreciate it

 

I am not sure what the error means, other than some needed files are missing. All I can recommend is trying to follow the tutorial again.

 

ive tried that method and a couple of other methods nothing works

 

The TTMemu folder is missing or the r4patch.dat is not in there, But im very sure it is in there...

Place ttmenu folder onto the root of your microSD card

Backup games and saves, format your microsd chip, drag and drop all files from ^ onto the root of your microSD chip

After ticking on packman, Boot ysmenu.nds for ysmenu
