R4 for DS SDHC?

  1. Hello, I recently bought an R4 for DS. I've been able to download games on to the 2gb MicroSD card I bought with it, however, when I ran out of memory on it, I decided to get an 8gb card. I put all my files onto the new 8gb card and proceeded to put it in the R4, and start it up. It got to the loading screen and stopped. So, I took it out, and tried it again. Still nothing. So I looked at the box, and it said the card was SDHC.
Now, I know what SD means, but no idea what these two new letters meant. The box also said that it doesn't work with normal SD, MiniSD, or MicroSD cards. Anyone know where to get an 8gb card that isn't HC or anyway to make it work with R4? Thanks in advance.

HC stands for High Capacity. I don't think they make anything that large that is not HC.

The original R4 doesn't support SDHC.

That isn't an original R4, it is probably an R4 SDHC.
