R4 FIRMWARE (v1.34) UPDATE! help needed!!

    ive just downloaded the 1.34 firmware update (r4 sdhc?)

    firstly i was wondering if that is okay for a normal r4?

    and secondly i need help with what files i need to put into my r4, the last update i had was v1.18.

    help is greatly appreciated!

    Word.

    R4 (original) uses 1.18 as the last official firmware. R4 SDHC (which is what I have) is a clone and utilizes the v1.34 you just mentioned.

    ive just reverted back to 1.18, the other one is crap, i cant get it to work at all...

    oh well :)

    Use firmware from this site: http://r4li.com/
    And download the YSMenu if you haven't already got it.

    it's crap for an original because it's not designed for it. Follow the link Jammy gave you because it has unofficial firmware that should work fine and is better than v1.18
