Hi, I've been out of the ball-game for a few years, but decided to pickup my NDS again as i started traveling +1 hour back and forth every day- I have a NDS Lite, with a R4 cart for loading games of a micosd card- Before there used to be a chinese website or something like that (i dont quite recall) where you used to get updates for the firmware, if there were any (rarely). is there a place for me to get that still ? How does these new Wood/TTMenu/whathaveyou firmwares work? Is it possible to play the new DSi / 3DS on them ?
they stoped support becouse of all the r4 clones you can get it here http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=39701.0 it works pretty much the same as the original firmware but has better compatibility/features. Note: you might need to edit the names of your save games for them to load no
Ah, Thanks a LOT! I would +1 you but these forums doesn't seem to have that capability! do i still need YSMenu to load anti-piracy checked games such as spirit tracks? I don't recall how i used to boot that game, but it doesn't work anymore
You can't find original r4 card for now. But the new R4 3DS can support ds/dsi games on your console. And you can't play 3ds games on NDS.
