R4 DS game error

    Hi there. I'm kinda new to this, but, I downloaded Sim City DS, used an expander to change it from .rar and out it on the R4 card, but when I try to load the game on my DS it tells me "Could not load the data. Turn off the power and reinsert the DS card" Any suggestions? ???

    try changing the save type. You may also need to update the firmware on your R4

    Ok, thanks I'll try it, but I don't know how to go about doing that.

    You can't change the save type on a R4DS since it will auto choose, however, you do need to update your firmware. Get it from here:

    http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/

    And just drag it into the root of the MicroSD card.

    oooo thx for the headsup on the update.Ive been waiting on it for awhile now.

    Was just about to ask about it since Hoshigami (U) gives the same error, hopefully this will get it running.

    Edit: yea that did it. Was waiting oon the update so i could get Entrain Oddesy codes, but this was even better. I bought EO but never really got into it, with codes maybe ill get into it more.

    Sorry for hijacking this thread, but the most recent firmware for M3 DS doesn't work with Sim City DS either.
