R4 doesn't display certain cheats after game ID check

So I've got my USRCHEAT.dat file on my r4 sdhc card. Some games like gta chinatown wars display the cheat option when they are hilighted in the game menu, but some like pokemon platinum don't. I've opened up the usrcheat.dat in R4CCE to check to make sure the game ID is correct, but it still doesn't give me the option to disable/enable cheats for the game. Any pointers?

Ya i have tried all those options, it still only shows cheats for some of the games

 

Try removing a lot of entries in the database, patching it with the bug fix (don't know if that is needed for your specific firmware). It helps to have the filename of the ROM the same as is in the game in the database.

 

THANKS! Well it was either deleting alot of them or renaming, most likely the deleting, but now i have cheats for all the cheatable games! Thanks again
