R4 - Compatible With 3DS?

    Due to recent circumstances, I've recently come into enough money to snag a 3DS, so I want to do so next paycheck. Unfortunately, recently, I picked up a new R4 clone that's compatible with Wood R4, and a MicroSD that would function properly with it.

    I've also been considering trading in my DS Lite to make the price on the 3DS a little easier to swallow. So, my question posed here is, can I still use the R4 in the 3DS and have it function properly through the DS emulation, or will I have to keep the DS Lite?

    Depends, if it's an original R4 then no. If it's a R4iGold/R4iDSN then yes.

    Well, it's original R4 clone, not R41Gold or R4iDSN. Oh well. Guess I'll be keeping my Lite.
