R4 compability with DSi?

Hello, I'm planning on buying a nintendo DSi (I currently own a Nintendo DS lite) and I want to know if the R4 (Original with R4 Wood) will work on it, or will I have to buy another flashcart?

Yeah , there are two R4i get official support from Wood and work on DSi .

There's no guarantee those support wood because it's not made for it.. And for the price of those shit cards, you could just about get an AK2i =/

 

No, the R4 won't work on it. I'm not sure if the cards alukado posted work on DSi, but anyways, they are not reliable and those are too expensive. You can just spend an extra 5 or 6 dollars and get an Acekard 2i.

 

Acekard 2i is the best flashcart for dsi

actually the r4i gold and r4idsn does work and is supported by YWG
both are dsi compatible, and works with 1.4.1

 

Gotta do your research Ryan. Both cards recommended have been officially supported by YWG for several versions now.
