r4 codes dont work

I used stuff to help and i does not come up when i click y it has the ones it comes with and i think the program sucks because i want to play the new dragon quest

Edit your cheat database with R4CCE by Yasu, and move the Pokemon Platinum higher in the list, or simply delete a few entries.

Is the game on the list when you open the cheat file? Do you have the right cheat database? you should be using either CHEAT.dat or USRCHEAT.dat. Also, make sure the ROM you are using is not trimmed. A little more info as to which file you are using and how up to date it is would help.

 

Try making a new database with the DQ code only. Try that.
