r4 clone

i have a r4 clone so what firmware do i use. I tryed wood r4 but it dont work

 

use ysmenu 1.17a12, its the latest update of ysmenu

 

i try but i get a white screen on patch games

 

ive read somewhere that ysmenu only supports clean roms, but i dont know, i use some patched roms like pokemon HG/SS, and legend of Zelda Spirit tracks, so i dont know what the problem is there, try it as a clean rom to see if it works

what r4 are you using?

 

it look like the original r4 but i know its a clone but i dont which clone.

 

do you still have the box for your R4? it should have a website in which you download its latest firmware, and after doing that put the ysmenu as an nds file, not as a firmware

 

i got it free off a friend so i dont know what the box is and how do i get ysmenu in nds

 

is your card this one right here?, if it is download the latest firmware from

Well I'm pretty sure it should run Wood R4 then (not the clone version, the original version). Most clones won't run it, but it yours is an exact copy of the original R4, I'm pretty sure it should be able to run Wood R4. Which version of Wood did you try?

 

all the one that have come out the few week for 1.4. to 1.8.

 

did you erase the old firmware you had for your cart? if not which one is it

 

the r4 original firmware 1.18 but most of the game dont work or need patch

did you download both files? and change YSMenu0903211700 to YSMenu0810211800 then add it to the ysauto folder

 

some game work and some dont

 

are these roms pathced? use clean roms with ysmenu so they work
