I'm hearing all this talk R4 is now gone?

The question is how to tell if you have a real R4?

I purchased a pair I'm not sure they are real?

    thanks

There's an old thread on the forum, search for "Fake R4 could brick your DS" it tackles just that :)

if you bought them in the last couple of months then chances are they are clones.

It basically turns your DS INTO a brick... Unusable... Boring...

Its meaning is quite literal. The DS' firmware becomes corrupted or damaged, and the DS will not be able to play games or turn on. Therefore, the DS has the uselessness of a brick (or a paperweight).

Disclaimer: This does not mean you can use a Nintendo DS as brick for a building. :p

BUT... You can use to break windows... or as a paper weight...

You mean you should lurk more. Trolling is bad. Lurking is just sitting around and watching.

most r4s being sold are clones since they stopped making real ones
