r4 cartridge help please

my r4 has stopped working, i've cleared the card and cant remember how to download the sofware to put back on it. can anybody help please? Also if anyone can help can u please explain in simple easy to understand terms.

First off, do you know if you're using a clone card? The R4 has so many clones it's hard to count.
If you DO have a clone,you can follow this tutorial to install YSMenu for clones.

If your R4, didn't work in the first place, instead of wiping it, maybe you should've done the "Paper Trick". This is when your DS can't read your R4 because the metal contacts on the bottom of the DS chip aren't touchin the DS ones, it's REALLLLLLLLY easy. You just unscrew the ds card, slip a piece of paper in it, then screw it back up and presto! your DS will read it each time! I have had the original r4, for 2-3 years now?

 

Try it at your own risk Sucess rate is low. And my R4 has been used for 5 years ;D
