r4 card

when i download game, when i put it in ds it just comes up with the menu screen, what do i need to do?

 

have you put on the firmware?

the website address should be at the bottom of the R4 box

download your firmware, you will need winrar to extract it http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

then, put on to your microSD card

 

if by menu screen it says "Loading" or a card with Menu ? underneath go to the address on your card/box and download the latest firmware.

If that fails copy everything on your card to your comp, right click and select format the card, fat 16 (under 1 gb) fat 32 (over 1gb)

recopy everything back onto your card.

 

i have already formatted card. but i dont know where to dwonload the firmware from, iv got no box, and the disc jus says www.r4i-sdhc.com on it, and that site is sh1t.

 

look for your card here, and download the latest firmware http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/

 

i downloaded firmware, then extracted it etc, now its opened 10 files. which do i need to put on card

ok, all files from your firmware must go on your microSD card

 

done that. but its still saying 'menu?' iv put game onto card, does it need go in a folder?

 

i haven't got a DSi myself, but no it shouldn't be put into a folder, if it's still asking for menu, then it's looking for your firmware,

my guess would be you may have the wrong firmware

 

any idea which firmware i need to download mate. my card says on it R4i Upgrade V1.4 Revolition for DS
(NDSi/NDSL/NDS)

read this page, like i said i haven't got a DSi, but i notice that you have a loader there in your firmware, and it may have something to do with that
