R4 brightness

i have latest firmware of R4-III(3.08 english) and when i turn it on it works fine but, I notice that the screen is at the lowest brightness option. so i look for that little sun to click on so it gets brighter and its gone. I press L because that also works and its still not bright . Everything worked fine on my old R4 but I wanted this one so i could get more space than 2gb.

 

Did the brightness setting work on a older R4III firmware?

 

Did you go into the second screen? From memory, you can choose 3 areas; Game, Multimedia and Boot Slot-2. Go into the "Game" area and you should see those symbols there. If not, perhaps I'm missing something?

yep calmcc was right instead of one the start screen it is now on the game screen
