r4 and supercard compatability

    hey guys, i'm pretty new to all this, but when i got my ds about a year ago, my buddy told me to get a supercard and the firmware upgrade, which i did.

    a couple months later i was in hk and another friend showed me the r4 card, which i thought was a much better system than the r4 so i bought it, thinking that i'd just sell my supercard but never did.

    anyway, my question now is i was trying to use my supercard with the memory expansion patch, but because my ds has the supercard firmware (or whatever) it boots into the sc instead of the r4. is there any way for me to downgrade my firmware to the original? i was told by the guy who sold me the r4 that i can use the sc with it without having to upgrade the firmware.

    any ideas?

    Firmware isn't entered into your DS, it's put on the flash cart. When you start your DS you should be able to select between your slot 1 and slot 2 device.

    If you're talking about the firmware on your SD card then simply backup your save games, reformat the card and put on the r4 firmware which can be found in the "Common Issues" thread.
