    Can I use R4SDHC firmware on a regular R4? I have a new 8GB SDHC microSD....Or maybe it's time for a new flashcard...

    You probably cannot.

The original R4 isn't compatible with SDHC cards, and I believe that's a hardware issue, so the firmware won't fix it.

    CycloDS (Expensive but good)
    Acekard2i (Very low cost, good)
Edge (CycloDS clone, cheaper, not quite as compatible as the CycloDS)
Probably a few other good ones.

Stay away from anything named R4i, if not just for the fact that there are so many clones and copies with the exact same name it's hard to be sure which one you are actually getting.

    Muchas Gracias :D

By the way, how expensive would that CycloDS be? I've heard it's an EXCELLENT flashcard, but ehh, if it's too much then it's not worth it..

    Just the card, 46USD.

Compared to about 12USD for the Acekard2i

of course. M3 lives on popularity. They always see what are the latest trends in flashcarts before manufacturing carts.
