I've had an R4 for quite a while now but just yesterday I picked up a 4GB SDHC card. I figured it would be the same as always, just dump all my "_system_" folders and stuff into my card. But when I tried to boot it up, the R4 got stuck on the loading screen. I know this is a common problem as I've tried to do some research but I could not find a solution. Help!

Is your R4 compatible with SDHC?
That might be causing the problem.

I have no idea what version my R4 is or whether it is SDHC compatible.
I've had it for over 2 years now and I have "misplaced" the original box.

If it looks like this it won't work:

However if it looks like this or simalar it may work, however it is a clone:

Original R4's can read up to 2GB of storage. If you want 4GB, then you have to buy a R4SDHC, or a better proper flashcard like Acekard2i or TTDS. (Both are SDHC compatible)

The first pic, will ownly work with a 2gb microsd card

The second pic, will work with a SDHC microSD card from 4gb - 32gb

Alright I guess I'll be needing a new flashcart then.
    Thanks for the help! :)
