    i no longer have a playstation of any kind. but i still have my discs of ff7. will a playstation emulator allow me to play those discs? instead of having to download it?

    Of course, just put in the CD, use ePSXe as the emulator, and Run from CD.

    better image the disc...
    you'll get faster loading time...and you'll keep the cd-rom healty ;D
