question on r4 ds

how do i put new cheats on my r4? ???

I don't use the R4 so I'm not sure sorry.

 

I thought they were added with each update but I may be wrong.

I use an M3 Simply myself but very very similar.

 

Download the cheat code editor off the r4 site, and create a usercheat.dat into your systems folder, then just add the codes in using the cheat code editor. The program itself is pretty simple and self explanatory, it'lll ask for a game name, game code, cheat code name, cheat code. If you want examples, you could find other people's usercheat.dat in many places, (i'd suggest the r4 forum, but that's down atm) and just look at how they do it. There's also an option in the code editor program to allow you to import the ARDS XML cheat sheets that you can get off their servers.

 

exactly..if you keep up with your kernal upgrades and the such.. you'll be able to play all roms and have access to the latest cheats.

and the nice thing is that they update that r4 site all the time..
