i ordered an acekard 2i the other day 4 my dsi. and was reading a while back not 2 update the firmware if i was going 2 get an acekard 2i . was planning on it then.

then i order 1 yesterday and forgot about that little tid bit i read... so i updated 2 version 1.4. my question is that is there no way i can fix this at all? is there no way around this? iv been reading about the danny phantom thing but u need 2 ds's 2 do that correct?

i only have access 2 1 ds and its the dsi that i updated. im kinda concernded now . id appreciate the help and input guys. thanks

The only way to update the Acekard is with another DS (or DSi with 1.3 or less firmware).
It is because you have to run the update on the card, and you cannot do that with the 1.4 DSi.

Do you have any friends which can let you borrow one?

    5 min. max!
acekard appears after that in dsi menue as danny phantom game - dont worry, everithing is fine with this.

    Hia,
I just read this and I have a dsi 1.4 firmware and an acekard2 which won't work on it. I've borrowed a ds light- could you give me a step by step way to update the acekard so it will work on the dsi and what firmware to use. Just had my ds lite stolen with a cyclods evolution on it and I'm way outta my depth here...

I followed the tutorial step by step and the update doesn't seem to run. It just hangs at 0%. Is there any solution to this. I have tried a number of times in a number of ways and still have it hanging at "progress 0%"
    Really frustrating...

you did run the right update didn't you? there is 2 updates depending on what you are updating on e.g DSlite or DSi

Yeah I tried both in the end and it is still stuck on 0%. No matter what I do the update just will not run for me. Is there ANY way round it or has anyone had same issues?

this maybe a silly question but you say you have an acekard 2 in your 1st post, i hope it's a 2i and not a 2.1

LOL- it's got an 'i' on it. I may be blonde but that's a bit harsh...
