Puyo Puyo 7 not working on R4DS

Using Latest R4 firmware and I have tried the Arm 7 patching the game and it's not working. What I have tried, Tried using Arm 7 file from an old Puyo Puyo NDS game. Sound breaks. Tried using Arm 7 file from Hulk (I think) and it does not work. Game goes to the title screen then goes to black screen. No$Gba does play the game (slowly but it works). No Arm 7 patching was done to the rom. Saving seems fine with No$gba.

I have used the same Arm 7 file on Sonic Chronicles and that works fine on the R4DS.

You might need to use YSMenu alternative firmware.

It patched the game and now it works on my R4DS.

 

i tried using this on my acekard2i and everytime i beat a level it freezes
is there a way to fix this?

well this seems stupid but well i just got my acekard2i and used to just have an M3ds simply
when i patched the rom i saw it was named nds.bat
when i put it in i realized that .bat didnt show up...so i deleted the .bat part and the game played fine except it kept freezing
now i know how to make .bat files show up on the acekard
should i rename the game again?
