Explain over pricing their consoles and paying reviewers. Sony had the PS3 originally priced at 700$ because of the hardware, and they were still selling that at a loss. Now it's 300$ and people are still complaining? Waaa. I've never heard of Microsoft paying reviewers, I've heard of Eidos doing it, and Activision. Eidos for advertising on Gamespot for Kane and Lynch, then pulling their advertising once Gamespot gave their review for the game (more of a hostage type thing). And Activision for a summit for Tony Hawk Ride, the journalists went there and reviewed the game early, they have amazing reviews for the game.
OIC. So what if Activision games this year get better review scores than let say games from EA. For example Starcraft 2 gets better scores than Command and Conquer 4. Does it mean that activision pays reviewers? Just asking. ;D(i know that they paid once ..perhaps EA did as well that but uncaught, hell maybe every single publisher did that at least once..and micro is big...)
Usually the games that get paid reviews are the shitty ones. ie: Kane and Lynch and that Tony Hawk Ride. NO, that means the reviewers liked Starcraft 2 over C&C4. And that logic is somewhat broken.
i dont know Sony is qualifiers being call a game publisher, Sony most famous for its electronic stuff, like TV and DVD players. For Sony, Playstation is just like Bravia. unlike Nintendo which is a gaming company since the start.
