yow guys, how's life all? the name is opiq, i'm a new member in this community and it really helps me alot.. finally i can play nostalgic games of snes and gba..and also the DS..WOOOW..longlive ff4 DS!! anyway, i've been trying to play bof 4 psx on my psp.. but i could never get it done i've created an iso,cue from my bof4 cd and even downloaded the bof4 iso from the net to then be converted using psx2psp,still it never seemd to work. i dont know why, coz i've already follow the tutorial and found files needed for the psx2psp i also have used popsconv 1.6, but still no result. anyone can help me?i really appreciate it.. for info, my psp is psp3000, 5.03 firmware, chickhen r2, cfw3.60 after i used chickhen r2 and cfw3.60, the firmware became 5.03 gen-c (full) thank you all in advance.. btw, sorry if this is the wrong place to put this topic,just let me know if it is and correct me if i'm wrong..
hi ace, i used psx2psp, i used the 0.71 and 1.42 as well.. i even used popsconv 1.6 for easier method.. but nothing worked.. when i load the game in psp, the screen stays blank..
i have pops 3.90. i put it in my game150 folder, but when i tried to load it, it says my system is already 5.03
hmm..still not working..i'm totally confused now..is the keys.bin and the base.pbp must be taken from hotshot golf 2? or there is something missing in my firmware setting??the cfw??
Umm.. When the PSX2PSP is done converting the PSX game, it will be in a folder like SLUSxxxx and such. Just rename that folder to whatever and put it into the /PSP/GAME folder. Don't change anything in the folder at all.
yeap, i did all that. i directly copy the psx2psp output (SLUSXXXX) or game name folder to /PSP/GAME but still blank.. that's why i asked, is it necessary to have the eboot.pbp (base.pbp) and keys.bin for the psx2psp converting process from hot shot golf 2?coz i have it from somewhere else. then what about the popstation.exe and cygwin1.dll?do i have to get the most updated one?but from where? hehehe..sorry for all the questions, coz i've been so confused and dizzy since yesterday..
It should work...but I have no idea what the problem is... Tirrith may know. PSP is my second best area. First is Wii.
hehehe..that's ok man, thanks anyway.. next time when i get confused with wii i let u know.. anyway, additional info, i tried to put alundra 2 to psp using psx2psp, everything is well from the PS screen, activision, contrail and the "now loading" screen. but after that everything goes blank..aaaarrrrggghhh...somebody please heeelpp!! now i want to try other game.. maybe musashi or guardian's crusade..i'll update then..

nope, no error message or whatsoever..all i have is only blank screen.. i still can reset game and quit when i press the home button..
Hard to say but it might just be the game being a bitch, is the PS logo loading at all? That is meant to load at least.
ok, i've tried some games, the ones that didn't work are musashi,breath of fire 4,alundra 2. musashi was alright up to title screen, then press start, then blank alundra 2 was alright up to the "now loading" screen, but then blank bof 4 was blank after the ps logo screen.. the games that worked are guardian's crusade,suikoden 2, wild arms 2 so far those are the only games i tried, i even tried to klick and unklick several things like the pal to ntsc however,when i try to put the compression level to 9, the converter could never start i don't know, maybe the games are just playing hard or maybe there are also some ways to get those games working? i'm very curious.. anyway, i will try other games.. currently i'm running on 5.03 gen-c
