PSX roms

hi i have a questions regarding the psx rom. i just downloaded one of them and it seems that i can't get it to run. everytime i try to open it a black screen appears and closes immediately. what's wrong?

 

What emulator are you using?

What game are you trying to run as an emulation?

Need more specifics in order to be able to help sir.

didn't try emulator. tried to burn it.

 

What do you mean your trying to burn it? What's giving you a black screen?

As I said... Need more details as to what is going on here... That's like me saying.. "I have a blue screen but I"m not using windows"

Burning at what speed? What Quality CD's? What CD Writer? What Program are you using?

 

if i want to transfer it to my psp, how do i go about doing it?

thanks for all your help. i was too confused with the rom. actually i downloaded legend of legaia. but it was a .exe. i didn't know that to do with it. that's why i can't burn it or transfer it to my psp.

 

i did. but it didn't extract. a dos screen pops up and disappears.
