??? I don't know if anyone has played the psx version of this game but i know in the ds version you can add kururu or however her name is spelledZ(the fairy puppetZ) into your party. can you not have her fight with you in the psx version? I just started playing the psx version of this game and so far i don't see a way to add her into the party at the beginning of the game.
I've never played the DS version but I've completed the PSX one and I don't remember using her as a companion...
