Ok, so I learned of a program called psx that lets you play ps1 games on the wii. I tried it before and it didnt work even though I burned the right file ( ISO ). So if anyone can help me:
How do you use psx on wii? :p ( Just in case I did something wrong )
Do the games HAVE to be burned on cds or can they also be burned on dvds?
Using imgburn, all you have to do is get the iso/cue/whatever file and burn it right? Or are there special steps or programs that I need to burn the ps1 games?

( This might be a little off topic but I learned the us server is under maintenance, around when will it be back up? You dont have to answer this if you dont know. )

    Thanks for the help.

    Hey!
I know a lot on this area.

Here is a pack that has all that you need in it. The emulator, the memory cards and the bios.

You can't use ISOs. You need to use .BIN images instead...not much support as of now for the emulator.
And it's still in the works.

You can use the program called ISOBuster to convert the ISOs into BIN images.
    http://www.isobuster.com/isobusterdownload.php

Simply download the program, install it, then open the ISO file with ISOBuster and right click on the top bar on the left side and hit Extract-to-from.

Continue with it and when you get to the explorer window, change the ISO bar to BIN.

And then put the BIN file in the PSXISOS folder on your Wii SD card.

It will only work with a GC controller I forgot to add. :p

It won't work with the WiiMote/Classic Controller combo.

And even then it lacks one button XD

    L1, L2, R1, R2

One of them is gonna be missing.

Maybe, the emulator is still a work in progress, in my understanding only tekken (well one of them) worked.

Here's the button mapping for the Emulator. - http://wiibrew.org/wiki/WiiSX#Button_Mapping
They substitute the Z button with the L and R to make L2 and R2 to work correctly.
    And L1 and R1 are just L and R. :)

Currently Spyro the Dragon 2 Ripto's Rage lags, but other than that runs very smoothly.
Eternal Eyes and other 2D games run REALLY well due to their low CPU usage and no 3D graphics.

I never tested any other games besides those, but you should also check out the DS Emulator for the Wii. :)
Doesn't work too well, but Yoshi's Island plays pretty well.

Ok, so just to clarify, im going to get my iso img, change it with isobuster to .bin ( unless its already a bin file ), then burn it? or do I HAVE to put it in the sd/psxisos folder?

    You can't burn it.

And yes, you have to turn it into a .BIN image and put it in the SD/PSXISOS folder or else it won't work right. :p
