First, I apologize if this question is wrong for this site because its not about roms or an emulator. My question is, if it is possible to download the psx iso then copy it to a blank cd and can be played in a playstation console. Because i own a ps2 console and i can play ps1 cds on it. I know its a downgrade for some but i dont like staring in my laptop for a long time just to play the game, not like on my ps, i can lay back and play from a distance. Hope that somebody can help me with this. I really like to play this in my ps. Thanks in advance.
your PS2 console must be chipped to allow it to play burned discs. If it is chipped then what you are asking is indeed possible.
What do you mean by "chipped"? how can i know if my ps2 is chipped? i'm not really great with tech stuff and if its okay if you can tell me. or even modify my ps2. thanks in advance and sorry for the inconvenience.
'chipped' means it has a device called a 'modchip' installed, which bypasses the copy protection and/or region lock to allow you to play burned/imported games. If you have not had your PS2 chipped then chances are it isn't.
Yeah, i've been researching about this modchip, i think my ps is not chipped. and i think i'll just sacrifice and play the game here in my comp rather than open up the console, i dont like soldering cause i might break the console. Thanks a bunch for your help!
